Master Thesis project in Visual Communication and Iconic Research entitled "A Matter of Storytelling: On Image Perception and Meaning in the Digital Post-Processing of Documentary Images". It consists of eight series of visual investigations and experiments, based on the current state of the art, that aim to discuss image perception and meaning related to digital post-processing of documentary photographs, both in color and monochrome.
The project moves from the micro level of basic adjustments to the macro ones, such as the bigger questions and factors that determine how eventually the final post-processed image will be, which eventually becomes a matter of storytelling. (more images soon)
